His relationship with plants began early, growing up at his family’s nursery in the Pacific Northwest, cultivating a curiosity and deep respect for the natural world. Over the years, that connection has grown into a design practice shaped by experiences across residential landscape construction, working farms, tropical conservatories, event installations, and community gardens.

Benjamin holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, a foundation that informs both the rigor and imagination of his work. Having a background that spans horticulture, landscape design, and the visual and performing arts, he brings technical precision and creative intuition to every project; his process guided by careful observation of the natural environment, a genuine understanding of people, and passion for how we occupy space.
